Teenagers love to express themselves with individual style.
A big welcome awaits your teenager as they develop their skills and creativity at SEW RETRO.
We support and encourage each student to show originality with their own designs.
Through our classes teenagers design and make any item from a pencil-case to a prom dress.
Join the affordable, fun and regular sewing classes for all ages and abilities, after school during term time in Hove.
At Sew Retro you learn to sew, design, create, pattern cut, alter, repair and customise.
Take a high street outfit and make it your own.
The classes are fully equipped with Singer sewing machines, Janome over lockers, cutting tables, pressing equipment and sewing tools.
Classes are open to all levels of sewing ability in a small group.
You are free to work on your own project at the weekly classes. Students do not have to make the same items.
Help is offered with GCSE textiles and Duke of Edinburgh awards.
Be ready to go after cake, biscuits and soft drinks are served at the start of the class.
All classes are lead by a teacher with more than 25 years experience, which makes SEW RETRO a sociable and pleasurable experience while learning a life skill.
Classes are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 3.30 – 5.55pm £50 per term.
Sew Retro was established in 2010.
